First thing first.
Disable file execution in the WordPress uploads folder
Create an .htaccess file and add the following
1. Create a full backup and download it to your computer (database and files)
2. Next step will be to download the official latest WordPress update from here -> wordpress.org/download/
3. Then delete the following folders from your installation and replace them with the clean ones from the official pack
4. Delete all the root files and replace all of them with the new clean ones from the official pack
Do not worry about your wp-config.php as that will not be replaced.
Just be sure that it has no junky code inside
5. Now we move to the last step
Open wp-content and record the following
-used theme
-used plugins
Then upload the wp-content folder to your server overwriting the one that includes all your plugins.
6. After you manage to connect download Malcare and connect your site with their service.
